U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers coined for lifting base moral during COVID-19

November 18, 2020 — CAMP ARIFJAN, Kuwait - Combating the coronavirus on U.S. Army bases involves a high level of planning and skillful coordination to keep Soldiers safe. 101st DSB begins RIP/TOA with 304th SB in Middle East

October 29, 2020 — Air Assault troopers from Fort Campbell, Kentucky began arriving in the Middle East in early October, the 101st Division Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), began collaborating with the 304th Sustainment Brigade at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. MORE

Return of two U.S. Army logistics support vessels to U.S. marks end of more than 20 year mission in the Middle East

October 9, 2020 — FORT KNOX, Ky. -- Two U.S. Army General Frank S. Besson-Class Logistics Support Vessels and their crews arrived at Third Port at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Oct. 8, marking the completion of more than 20 years of support to U.S. Central Command and U.S. Army Central. MORE

During the event, participants dedicated the number of miles they ran or walked to a survivor of sexual assault as a show of support. The event took place to raise awareness of the approximately 7825 cases of sexual assault and harassment across the Department of Defense.

Loading Up

September 11, 2020 — The Army uses a myriad of heavy equipment and machinery. This ranges from trailers to tanks. One may wonder how this massive equipment finds its way to the battlefield. Soldiers from the 1184th Deployment and Distribution Support Battalion (DDSB), based in Mobile, Ala., are responsible for the movement of over 400 pieces of equipment from several different units on this past shipment at the Port of Shuiaba, Kuwait. Death of a 1st Theater Sustainment Command Soldier – Sgt. Dontrez A. Dawson

August 20, 2020 — FORT KNOX, Ky. -- A 1st Theater Sustainment Command Soldier died as a result of a motor vehicle accident on the Bluegrass Parkway in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Aug. 16. MORE
Sgt. Dontrez A. Dawson entered the Army as a human resources specialist in January 2017, and has been assigned to the 14th Human Resources Sustainment Center, 1st Theater Sustainment Command Special Troops Battalion, 1st TSC, since June 2017.
