Return of two U.S. Army logistics support vessels to U.S. marks end of more than 20 year mission in the Middle East

October 9, 2020 — FORT KNOX, Ky. -- Two U.S. Army General Frank S. Besson-Class Logistics Support Vessels and their crews arrived at Third Port at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Oct. 8, marking the completion of more than 20 years of support to U.S. Central Command and U.S. Army Central. MORE

Loux (LSV 6), which were the last of the LSVs to redeploy from Kuwait back to the U.S. in support of the Army’s watercraft modernization strategy.
