Love for the Army brought this 1st TSC couple together

CTEF team clears lot, delivers military vehicles, firearms to Iraqi security forces

August 12, 2021 — Soldiers executing the Counter ISIS, Train and Equip Fund supporting Iraqi security forces, or CTEF, achieved a significant milestone July 6, when the last items left Lot 54 here. MORE

This trailer was the last item out mostly military vehicles, which were in the lot when the Army Reserve Soldiers of the Indianapolis-based 310th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) who staff the 1st Theater Sustainment Command's operational command post, which included management of the CTEF-I.

Mother and daughter share bond through service

August 9, 2021 — It was during the surge in Iraq when a mother in Alexandria, Virginia, wrote a letter to her deployed daughter. In it, she asked her not to call until she finished reading the entire letter where she explained why, at age 42, she was following her lifelong dream to join the Army. Sgt. 1st Class Carol E. Newland, sexual assault response coordinator, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, said that she always wanted to give back to her country. MORE

143rd RSG Completes Mission in Jordan

August 5, 2021 — On Sunday 18 July 2021, the 143rd Regional Support Group, Connecticut Army National Guard, transferred authority of Area Support Group Jordan to the new permanent Area Support Group Jordan, previously Area Support Group Qatar, in a ceremony held at Joint Training Center in Jordan. The 143rd RSG, led by Colonel Thomas Dennis and Command Sgt. Major Orlando Anderson, completed its mission on Sunday. MORE

'Brickyard' mural cements deployment legacy

July 31, 2021 — The "Brickyard" Soldiers of the Army Reserve's Indianapolis-based 310th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) unveiled a mural commemorating their deployment here roughly a month before the unit's Aug. 28 casing of their colors. MORE
The completed T-wall for the 310th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.  Chief Warrant Officer 2 Paul Viall worked countless hours in extreme heat to paint a mural that will represent the hard work and dedication of the Army Reserve’s Indianapolis-based “Brickyard” Soldiers and their time serving within the U.S. Central Command’s area of responsibility.

Army Reserve Capt. Skyler Danks, deployed to Kuwait with the Indianapolis-based 310th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), was recognized along with Sgt. 1st Class Ryan M. Belcher in the Army's 2021 Anti-Terrorism Honor Roll.
