Kuwait MWR holds first in-person tournaments following a year of COVID restrictions

June 3, 2021 — Programs and events at Camp Arifjan are beginning to return to normalcy as more personnel on base receive the COVID vaccine. The Morale, Welfare and Recreation Community Center hosted a chess tournament and darts tournament for service members and civilians at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, on May 23, 2021, and May 26, 2021, respectively. 'Desert Medics' begin Operation Eagle's Landing, open clinics at Joint Training Center-Jordan

May 27, 2021 — For the second year in a row, a 1st Theater Sustainment Command volunteer was named U. S. Army Central’s Volunteer of the Year in a ceremony held in Fort Knox, Kentucky, May 26. Lt. Gen. Terry R. Ferrell, commanding general, U. S. Defense Logistics Agency Civilian Gee Hyun McNease, deployed as the deputy commander of the DLA Support Team-Kuwait at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, is a native of the Republic of Korea. McNease said her first consciousness of America was from her parents, who were grateful to American Soldiers who liberated her country from the Communists.

1st Theater Sustainment Command honors volunteers, receives unit award

May 18, 2021 — Maj. Gen. John P. Sullivan, commanding general, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, and his wife, Jennifer Sullivan, presented volunteer awards to Soldiers, civilians and military spouses of the 1st TSC during a ceremony held Friday, May 14, outside the command headquarters here.
