‘Spears Ready’ Soldiers complete ACFT familiarization at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait

September 9, 2021 — “Spears Ready” Soldiers of the Fort Bragg, North Carolina, based 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command completed a Sept. 7 orientation with the new Army Combat Fitness Test. MORE

September 2, 2021 — If you’re cruisin’ around Elizabethtown and see a restored, forest green, 1968 Ford Mustang with white trim, you may want to wave. It could be one of your 1st Theater Sustainment Command teammates. Howard T. Johnson, deputy inspector general, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, served 29 years in the U.S. Army, eventually retiring as a sergeant major and having served as a command sergeant major. The former cavalry scout was raised in Stephenson, West Virginia, and knew from a very young age that he wanted to serve in the Army. MORE

Civil Affairs Regiment commemorates 66th Anniversary

August 17, 2021 — The U.S. Army Civil Affairs Regiment commemorates its 66th anniversary of inception Aug. 17. In 1955, civil affairs was formally established as a U.S. Army Reserve branch. It was designated as the Civil Affairs Regiment in October 1959. In October 2006, civil affairs was further established as a basic branch of the Army. MORE
