February 15, 2022 — Chief Warrant Officer 3 Benteal Y. Currie is headed to the White House. The human resources technician, deployed here with the Fort Bragg, North Carolina, based 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, learned in the fall of 2021 that she was accepted to become part of the White House Communications Agency team. Chief Warrant Officer 3 Benteal Y. Currie is headed to the White House. The human resources technician, deployed to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, with the Fort Bragg, North Carolina, based 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, learned in the fall of 2021 that she was accepted to become part of the White House Communications Agency team. “This will be my first joint assignment," Currie said. "I love to learn and I want to see how we connect the dots in that particular organization.”

1st TSC soldier sixth in family to serve

February 11, 2022 — Americans serve in the U.S. military for many reasons. This 1st Theater Sustainment Command Soldier’s family legacy of service is what inspired him to serve. Spc. Michael Washington Jr., a unit supply specialist for the battalion S-4, Special Troops Battalion, 1st TSC, is the sixth person in his family to serve in the military and is proud of that lineage. ‘First Team’ Soldiers awarded Green to Gold scholarships

Three ‘Spears Ready’ NCOs selected to attend Army’s Sergeants Major Academy

February 9, 2022 — Three “Spears Ready” senior noncommissioned officers have been selected to attend class 73 of the Army’s Sergeants Major Academy on Fort Bliss, Texas, this year. Master Sgt. Vantha Chhim, Master Sgt. Jamel C. Fulks, and Master Sgt. Yadriana M. Kavitz, assigned to the Fort Bragg, N.C., based 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, have been deployed here since August of 2021 staffing the 1st Theater Sustainment Command operational command post. From Tunisia to California: Soldier discusses why he serves

January 28, 2022 — Spc. Mohamed A. Mannai is ready to take advantage of all the opportunities the Army has to offer. The 29-year-old utilities equipment repairer is assigned to the Fort Riley, Kansas, based 24th Composite Truck Company, which recently redeployed from Camp Buehring, Kuwait. While deployed, the company supported the mission of the 3rd Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade, 1st Theater Sustainment Command. MORE
