Warrant Officer Joseph Pina: Outstanding Army Petroleum Staff Operator of the Year

April 10, 2019 — Soldiers are often quietly awarded for their actions, but not U.S. Army Warrant Officer Joseph Pina, 504th Quartermaster Company, 1st Armor Division Sustainment Brigade, who is forward deployed with the U.S. Army Reserve's 300th Sustainment Brigade. On March 12, 2019, the U.S. Army Petroleum Center (USAPC) Award for Petroleum Excellence announced Pina as the recipient of the Outstanding Army Petroleum Staff Operator of the Year. MORE

April 4, 2019 — Capt. Heather Meier, 452d Combat Support Hospital, U.S. Army Reserve, is a surgical nurse currently deployed in support of Operation Spartan Shield at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. She recently earned her master's degree at a physicians assistant graduate program, and then completed her clinical rotations in Kuwait. MORE
