April 5, 2022 — During the month of April members of Ali Al Salem Air Base recognize Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. There are many resources and services available to discuss or report an incident: SARC, SHARP, volunteer victim advocates, the Air Force Victims’ Counsel European Circuit at Aviano Air Base, Italy, which covers the U.S. Air Forces Central area of responsibility, Chaplain, Mental Health, the sexual assault medical forensic examiner at Medical, SAFE Helpline and app, and Military One Source.
